Language Viewpoint; Indonesia, Local, or Global Citizen

We are recognized by having variate cultures from thousands ethnic groups, exactly there are 1,340 ethnic groups according to the census of BPS on 2010. As an Indonesian, we are required to keep conserving our culture. In the othe hand, we could not cover ourself from foreign culture. So do language.

We are in the middle of three language at the general. Indonesia language, local language, and foreign language as the global language.

Indonesia language is our unity language. Unity is not mere we have similarity, but we have one fate and destination. So, we have to be proud to conserve Indonesia language. How do we feel if it becomes global language in the future?

Local language is our precious language riches. The beauty of Indonesia’s cultures is very famous in the world. Many people is too busy in using foreign language that the local one is neglected. This is far from word conserving. Even it would be disappear time after time, and finally we lose it. Who wants lose this precious reaches?

Global language is our language to submerge in the world.  Those who  master the global language, those can master the world. This is the absolute thing for us to stand in front of the world, that we can compete and raise Indonesia.

The real step to conserve language is by language experience. So, we have to balance conserving language. Priorite Indonesia language, conserve local language, and master foreign language.
